The 2001 Limited Edition Ashton Humidors were released with Carlos “Carlito” Fuente, Jr's new creation, the Ashton VSG Estate Reserve cigars.  The blend of these cigars used the legendary Chateau de la Fuente wrapper that up until then, had been used exclusively on Fuente Fuente OpusX, the world's most sought-after cigars produced by the Fuente family.

The humidor came with 100 Ashton VSG Estate Reserve cigars in 9 sizes:

The 2001 Limited Edition humidors were cabinet humidors. The humidor has two doors and when you open the doors, you will find four drawers. The front side of the drawer is finished with varnished mahogany veneer and the inside of the drawer is lined with natural mahogany veneer.
